LLFA ® Tape, once wrapped, rapidly fuses to itself, maintaining applied tension indefinitely. This “compression sheath” creates an enduring seal that will survive harsh environmental conditions. The effect of multiple layers applied at full tension is similar to a mechanical fitting compressing a rubber O-ring to create a seal – each turn or wrap increases the compressing force.
